His first name "Shahrukh" means "face of the king". He has indeed lived upto his name that was fondly given by her parents.
Shahrukh Khan was born on 2nd November 1965 to Mir Mohammad Taj Khan and Lateef Fatima. Taj Mohammad Khan was a freedom activists who first came to India before the partition from Peshawar. SRK was brought up in Delhi. He has a sister named Shehnaaz Khan.
Shahrukh attended St. Columbia's School, Delhi from where he developed his interest in sports, drama and academic activities. He pursued higher studies from Hansraj College and earned Honors degree in Economics. Khan accomplished his Masters Degree in Mass Communication from Jamili Millia Islamia.
Soon after the death of his parents, Shahrukh moved to Mumbai in the year 1991 where he married a Hindu girl Gouri. They both are still married and have two children named as Aryan and Suhana.
This Bollywood Actor started his career with the film, Deewana (1992). Shahrukh delivered numerous successful hits throughout his career like Diwale Dulhania Le Jaenga (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota hai (1998), Chak De India (2007) and Om Shanti Om (2007). Movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi
